Soundworks was started in 1996 by Stephen Scott, while he
lived in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He began a company that could provide special
entertainment for any occasion. We performed
at a large number of weddings,
a few graduation
parties, high school formals,
class reunions, and Christmas parties.
After moving to Kansas City in
2001, it didn't take long for Stephen and his wife Some
to start DJing again. Once again, the focus has been mainly on
weddings.
Even after all of these years, the goal is still the same:
to make people happy by playing their favorite music.

Company History
During the years in Hawaii, Stephen and another professional
DJ, Chris Seii worked together to manage the company. Along
with the help of Chris's brother Jes, and Stephen's friends Frankie
and Garin.
