DJ   STEVE

Stephen Scott is the owner and Head DJ at Soundworks.
If something comes up, Dave & Mitch can help out, but in general, Steve is the DJ for all Soundworks events.

Stephen began DJing for his fraternity in college and
became used to working with live crowds.  He turned pro in 1996 and started Soundworks.  He started out playing
every party he could, which grew into the Wedding
business we have today.

He has a definite passion for making people happy, with
any kind of music.  His enjoys helping the client plan the event, and then making their dreams come true on the big night.  He pays attention to the back of the room as well as the dance floor to help every guest have a great time. 



Mitch has been DJing professionally in Kansas City for the past 15 years. He specializes in rock n roll oldies and the classic Motown sound, but he also
loves 90's dance music.  He's a great DJ for all ages.
 


Dave has an extremely polished, professional style. He plays a sophisticated mix of hip-hop soul and dance favorites. He keeps the beat steady and
throws in a lot of “radio station-like” effects.  .
